There's this character in DC comics called The Question. When they tossed him into the Justice League Unlimited series for a few episodes, he was kind of a Fox Mulder character connecting dots that didn't go together (literally, on a cork-board, like that scene in 'A Beautiful Mind')...only they did go together, and whether this happened by way of The Question's intuition, oddball genius, or just dumb luck, it didn't matter. He figured out whatever it was he was figuring out. I'm choosing to believe Synth is channeling that.

If he is just batshit crazy, I'm OK with that, too. He's mostly harmless.
