EDIT: It'd be cool if they made a brewmaster class, though.

I would support this.

if the pandas were horde, the dwarfs could easily have this class too.

Fake.

(Zaryi's post, I mean. No evidence for my contention, but it just sounds bogus. Also what, memos sent by mail?)

Not only that, but they've maintained a bit of balance since TBC when they let the Horde have paladins and the Alliance have shaman. I doubt they'd add a new druid race option to one faction and not add one to the other.

Warlocks don't count for anything...and they're adding another paladin race to Horde but not to Alliance, that also sounds iffy.

i think alliance have one more than horde anyway.

not that in any way do the sides have to be balanced in that regard. I dont think its a big deal or a factor in deciding whether or not the expac is fake.

I'm guessing its fake purely due to the fucking pandarens.

I thought that originally, but that was one page out of an 9 page memo. Lots of work for a prank, but /shrug

Maybe, maybe not. MMOC said it was fake but I think they're just shilling for Blizzard, especially since they said it was fake in that hyperbolic tone Bouboille uses when he's full of shit. Personally I think it's either real - or, if fake, based on inside information.

The funny thing about this "Mists of Pandaria" thing - the last expansion was done in this super-serious manner that came off as farcial and eye-rolling. This expansion is somewhere in between, but the repetition and choppy design make it hard to pull off "epic". Basically, the devs don't have any real vision for the game and are just going from one storytelling failure to another.

But then again most of the devs actually believe that video games can't tell a story (people like Kalgan have gone on record, in print and on tape, saying so), which if you think about it (especially in the context of working with the Warcraft franchise and in the RPG industry) is an incredibly fucking stupid opinion.

Horde Shaman| Tauren, Orc, Troll, Goblin.
Alliance Shaman | Draeneì, Dwarf.

Alliance Paladin| Human, Dwarf, Draeneì.
Horde Paladin| Blood Elf, Tauren.

Only thing unbalanced here really is Horde have more of their original Faction Specific Class than Alliance do.

Mostly, I'm annoyed that whoever's in charge of thinking of new stuff is taking a WarCraft 3 Easter Egg seriously

The Brewmaster in the campaigns was a bit much for me. I didn't mind the bonus level, but then there was that one in the Orc campaign too which crossed the line between Easter Egg and actual chatacter.

I've always felt Pandaren should be a figment of drunk character's imaginations. Kinda like religion where you believe they're real but there's no actual proof beyond the drunken ramblings of a few select Dwarves and uhh... who gets high the most, Tauren? Trolls? Crack Elves?

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeah.
