I keep all my porn on an external hard disk, the same one with the rest of my documents. I'm also a lot more honest about what I spend several dozen gigs on and what I think when I look at Aestu's T&A.

There's no need for that kind of shit. You made perfectly valid points and then ended on such a needlessly sour note.

Just because my barbs are a bit more witty doesn't make them any more "sour".

I used irony to address the purely technical side of his argument.

Yea, I'm not worried about his jabs. I did take the first swing with the "you have no family or friends" line. :P

Fuck all of you.

That's pretty much market price. Besides, what do you need 250GB for?

Unless you're using Goodwill market prices, the actual market price for an SSD drive is about $100/60GB. Check Newegg.com if you don't believe that.

As for needing all the space...
20GB for Windows 7 (Assuming we're talking 64-bit and using the system requirement specs.)
30GB for WoW (Roughly, with the 4.03 patch... not sure what it is, now.)
84GB of Music
62GB of Photos and Home Movies
26GB of Miscellaneous Shit (Sheet music, e-books, scanned receipts, fonts and photoshop brushes, source code, contracts, etc.)
12GB for StarCraft 2

That's 234GB of my total HD space, which is a 1TB local drive... but I actually have most of my images, music and miscellaneous on a 1TB Raid 1 Network Storage Drive so it can be shared between all computers in my homegroup.

Granted, you probably won't have 62GB of photos because you don't have family or friends... so...

You only use a SSD for Windows install and programs/games that would benefit from the read speeds.

Black market, maybe.

An array of things piled in atrocious amounts.

But even after cutting everything except often played music and often played games, I still wouldn't be able to work with 60.

I'm in the mood for cleaning house now.

I had an 8800GTX and it ran fine with the 550w PSU I was using it with. It is a hot card but I never had it cut out on me at stock speeds, I was running 4 case fans at the time (3x 90mm 1x120mm?) and I never had to watch temps with it. Worked like a dream till it got hit by lightning : [

Mine was an EVGA is yours a shit brand maybe >.> some of them don't have ideal heatsinks/fans.

It has sinks and a fan, but it is a few years old.

No offense, but I recommend you change your tag because "double H" can be interpreted as a Neo-Nazi salute.

People don't buy SSD for the space, they buy it for the performance. No shit SSD's are small. If you have a ton of files, of course you aren't going to buy a SSD. If you want to run a specific program, or OS, with better performance.... You get a SSD. Not that difficult.

I never looked into the SSDs since they've been expensive from the start and that I've pretty much seen them used out in the field for systems that needed to be a bit more durable against things like dropping and impacts.
