That's the other problem with serial monogamists, they never ever have to be alone. If you're alone, you can't escape yourself.

On topic: I too believe serial monogamy is inherently selfish, though I wasn't able to put the exact reasons into words like Aestu and Azelma. I honestly think the quote "you can't have your cake and eat it too" should apply to monogamy, but it simply doesn't in the real world.

The last meat dish I ate, over a decade ago, was squid with caper sauce. It was really good.

I still do enjoy jellyfish, with onions, vinegar and seasame seeds. If the ingredients are fresh and it is well-prepared, it's extremely tasty. There's one place in Boston Chinatown I know of that does it particularly well. It is annoying, however, having to tell the waiter three times what it is I want:

"You want that?"
"Yes."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes."
"Do you know what that is?"
"Yes."

Then they stare. They're convinced it's a prank or something, there couldn't possibly be a white guy who enjoys jellyfish.

It's almost as bad as counting change with dumb cashiers -_-

You don't like jellyfish? Too fucking bad. In 20 years, all the seafood will be extinct and you will have to get used to eating jellyfish blooms.
