I suppose I can get the address from something arriving shortly.
However, I'm not completely experienced with everything the city has to offer as of yet.
Personally I blame my WoW addiction for setting me back a few years.

Give me a rough hint of what I'm looking for!

Uh...Sacramento? Have to offer? lol.

Well...memory serves...there's...

-those nice rice paper candies, imported from Japan, with the edible wrapper, come in a small rectangular box
-saltwater taffy - there's a candy store in Old Sacramento that sells it
-sourdough bread (if you get ship it priority and bag it tightly, it should remain good)

When I came here to Boston, I would be asked what kind of toast I wanted, and I would reply, "Sourdough". People always gave me funny looks. It is still incomprehensible to me that these people don't even know what sourdough is. Eventually I found some so-called "sourdough" at a farmer's market. I was ecstatic, but they warned me "it's not as strong as the sourdough you're used to". They were right - it tasted positively anemic.

More generally, things to see and do with your woman
(all of this is very, very cheap if not free, and offers diverse, well-adjusted entertainment)

-the Crocker Art Museum has a surprisingly nice collection of classical art, bought during the Gold Rush
-Old Sacramento is great fun for all ages
-the Railroad Museum, in Old Sacramento
-Sutter's Fort, and the nearby Indian Museum (a short drive from your place)
-Ancil Hoffman Park & Golf Course (a massive area that includes wild rasperries, old Indian settlements, remarkable woods with wildlife - you can wander for hours)
-CSUS Arboretum
-Cal Expo State Fair when the event is up (I recommend especially the agricultural exhibits)
-A very interesting flea market with lots of rare items south of the Watt Avenue bridge. If you can stand the smell, you'll love the cheap food, clothing, shoes (for both genders) and all sorts of interesting books and other items for sale. It is arguably the most cosmopolitan attraction in Sacramento. It will take you many months to fully search the barns.
-American River Bike Trail - I especially recommend the area around mile mark 18-20.
The bike trail can be accessed via the bridge across the American River from the campus.

If you have a free weekend, take your woman to Apple Hill in neighboring Rancho Cordova. Wonderful place in the springtime, great fun for all ages, all the apples you can pick and great food. Oh, and a lot of secluded makeout places.

I don't mind admitting I'm shamelessly trying to relieve my childhood through you, and act out my egoism by sharing the places and experiences that shaped my personality and worldviews. I guarantee you'll have fun, though.

Noted.

Also, I think I have been to that flea market but you've just rekindled my desire to go back. It's been years, I used to go maybe once a week with my parents. I think I could actually appreciate everything contained within the barns now. I used to only be interested in the games and various electronics my dad would pick up from there and show me the workings of at home.

Oh sorry, I misunderstood, I thought you had only recently moved to Sacramento.

I've been here my whole life.
I've just been a hermit for 95% of it.

Drop it in epic fashion, unless you plan to use them as a reference.

i've only had the job for like two weeks, so i don't even plan on putting it on my resume
with that said, i will still be an adult about it and handle the situation properly

Naw, I was still in training at the job, so my resignation was effective immediately.
Just got home from doing that quitting-thing and turning in company property, Lucinth now wins the job-count.
