That's the only thing I could come up with, some dads heard and came and tried to find their kids, or were still in the building cause school had just started pretty much. Cause there were many reports of multiples, from adults to kids to teachers at the school, and then video footage of them pursuing one in the woods while one was on the ground outside the school. I guess it was just being better safe than sorry(er).
