So, I just hit 80 on my Shaman yesterday. I think I know kind of what I'm doing (IE i'm not a complete moron), but I was wondering if anyone with more extensive knowledge would be able to point me in the right direction in terms of gems enchanting and spec for Resto.

What gems do resto shaman use?
How's my spec?
Rotation? - Currently I keep earthshield on the tank at all times, hit them with riptide, then just spam lesser heals as needed (I use a bigger/slower heal if they are taking bigger hits), gift of the naaru (lulz), and then of course brain heal.

Totems?

Currently I go with:

-Strength of Earth (if there's no DK in group, Stoneskin if there is)
-Healing Stream Totem (sometimes Mana Spring if I'm having huge mana issues)
-Flametongue
-Windfury (if Melee DPS outnumber casters), Wrath of Air (if caster DPS outnumbers melee, or if I feel I could use the haste)

Obviously I'm not an asshat so I drop Tremor Totems when fears are going out, etc


TLDR: WHAT AM I MISSING ABOUT BEING A GUD SHAMMY?

Thing is, I have googled...it's how I got my spec, etc, and I've read up on it

(Saying Int gems are what a shammy wants...but also spell power and MP5, etc.) BUT I figured I'd go to FUBU for more info, especially since there's a lot of idiocy on the internet in general, and I tryst FUBUers more than some random asshat.

Also, the results for the google search "how to be a good shaman" were useless.
