I dunno, I didn't see any naked raids on SS, but I saw a lot of them on Astranaar.

Questing there was a fucking bitch. Go to the quest giver in one of the buildings and get sniped by 3 people just swimming out in the lake. And good luck getting out of the city to go do those quests, there were 20 people camping the bridge on either side.

We were of course doing the same shit to Splintertree Post.

Shit was crazy.

Personally I prefer the month afte 2.0 and 3.0 were each released.

I loved Vanilla. It was tons of fun, and a pain in the ass all at the same time. I remember HATING to go to STV or SS because it was a crazy gankfest. They were also some of the best times though...

And I loved MC. I realize this makes me crazy. I don't care <3

Pardon me while I whip out the "back in my day"...

Everquest raids were 72 man (still are as far as I know). All of the original 4 or 5 expansions were non-instanced as well. Meaning, anyone could theoretically participate. We had one raid with well over 120 people, and the main boss would port you out to another zone if you were not in the correct raid...lots of people ended up god only knows where that night.

That's what raiding is all about. 25 man is just a large group by comparison.

Oh, and get off my lawn, you delinquents!
