The Wikings were an SS unit (you know, the guys who spent their time hunting jews). A more accurate comparison would be if black people should be pissed when a white man wears a KKK uniform for a civil war reenactment.
The SS was the military wing of the Nazi party, and was involved in most major European WWII battles. Saying you can't wear their uniforms when reenacting battles they were involved in is denying history. The KKK was never a uniformed military service and didn't exist during the Civil War, so your comparison is nonsensical. The closest comparison would be people wearing Confederate uniforms for reenactments, which i suspect they do routinely.
^ this. to deny the existence of the SS in an accurate historical reenactment is the same as denying the existence of the holocaust.
