From my Ivory Tower down in sheep shagger country all your networks are completely bullshit, and i can't watch any of them without feeling like i'm watching some Nazi propaganda. It's fucking painful. When i see people argue from either side (the fact you have 2 clearly defined sides at all shows how fucked up your country has become) i just shake my head. It's like you not only accept this sordid state of affairs, you participate in and support it. The lack of middle ground is simply astonishing, the lack of denial makes me want to vomit.

Honestly, if it were up to me, Olbermann and Beck would have a show together. That shit would be fucking priceless. Not as good as my Adam West/William Shatner Odd Couple idea, but ratings would be amazing.

Yeah, and now that I think about it, Olbermann and Beck are a lot alike with the over-the-top emotional displays. Sure, the only emotion Olbermann generally displays is rage, and is nowhere near as funny as Beck snuffling back the 'tears' of concern for the future of the country, but they are both just unrestrained, overly emotional side-show acts.

The more I think about this intro...

it's genius. I can see a serious political commentary, if I choose to see it that way. I can see it in a completely opposite light, making fun of that same commentary, if I choose that angle. I can imagine the discussions in the conference room at Fox being crazy...one side of the table laughing and the other enraged... both not understanding why the other side doesn't "get it". I confess that I did not know Banksy (pretty interesting backstory, actually) existed before this, but man, what a poke at both sides. Ok, so I'm slow...

No doubt, I think we can all agree that partisan politics, and extremes (both liberal and conservative) are killing progress and subsequently hurting this country.

I don't even think its extremes.

There are solid practices that either side believes in that could be the proper way forward.

I dont think it should be a line in the sand, but we should pick and choose ideals, not parties.
