"For the Horde!"

You (especially the hordies here) have no doubt heard this many, many times. I've always pondered on the fact that Horde seems to have more "pride"

I always feel like Horde players tend to work together more, and have a more collective disdain for the Alliance. I feel like whenever things start going south in an Alliance BG it's "YOU SUCK" "blah blah l2p noob" "stop rushing middle" "defend the stables asshats!" and so on.

Not to mention, ever since TBC, I know I lose BGs way more than I win. Granted, I'm terrible, but I still feel like Horde wins a lot more...and pride/passion/whatever might be the root of it.

Consider our dear friend Chrystal -- aside from her obvious mental retardation, she has quite a bit of pride in the Horde. I've never seen such a person/guild exist on the Alliance.

However, with race/faction changes...is faction pride a thing of the past? What about Horde versus Alliance, are the player bases that different? Have they become more homogenized since faction changes/being able to have Horde and Alliance on the same server?


TLDR - MY QUESTIONS:

Why does it seem that Horde players have a lot more pride in their faction, while Alliance side has very little? Do Horde players even have more pride?

Have race/faction changes lowered the "pride" aspect in factions?

Does Blizzard, or has Blizzard ever shown a "Horde-bias"? I've most often heard this charge back in the day because Horde racials were so much better than Alliance racials for PvP (according to some)

Do Horde players tend to be more mature/less pre-teen bitches because of the nature of Horde races (IE: aside from Blood Elves, all the horde are fucking ugly....something much more appealing to older people/angry metal fans (the stereotypical horde player))?

EDIT: Really looking for input from everyone here...anyone who has played Horde and Alliance end game should have some insight. I've only ever played Alliance end game, so I can only speak for what I've observed. I never was subjected to Barrens chat either.

everyone rages equally when losing BGs. Having PvP'd as both, I can say fairly impartially that the sides are basically the same.

As for supposed "Horde bias," this is the first expansion where we've gotten more cool shit than you. BC focused entirely on killing former Horde heroes, which I'm totally not okay with, and WotLK was about a human hero being the king of all evil and another human hero (jk Bolvar's a no-name, where did that fag come from and why is he at all relevant) taking his place for hurpderpexmachina reasons.

It's about time we burned your cities to the ground and salted the earth with your tears. Plus, the new Garrosh is still retarded but will forever be greater than Varian Wrynn.

Honestly though, if I could I'd flag myself for FFA at all times and kill everyone. STV Arena just isn't enough.

All the alliance pride is in Dreys and me.
