I think you place importance on events without facts to substantiate them. You create this narrative for yourself because it makes events easier to deal with.
You present Eturnal's and Boredalt's departures and your ending interactions with them in a light that is exclusively favorable to you...as if you somehow figured them out and exposed them and their only choice was to accept defeat or run. You believe this is the only "logical" conclusion, because it's the only conclusion that allows you to ignore your role as an asshat.
In reality, it's equally likely they just got tired of your shit and stopped wanting to post.
It's also likely they got sick of my shit and retarded ramblings. Maybe they got sick of Mayo. Maybe Eturnal realized that the constant hurr durr back and forth on this forum is generally unpleasant and it's not something he wanted to have in his life anymore. Lord knows I've had those same thoughts.
Who really knows (besides Rikki and Jubber in the case of Eturnal)?
Certainly not you.
Give me a break. Life never works like that and you know it. You never have hard and fast proof that anyone does anything for any specific reason. You're doing something you do often which is try to echo my style and idioms out of context.
You're describing the exact same thing in three different ways: "feeling exposed and compelled to accept defeat or run," "your shit", "being an asshat". If that's how you want to characterize it, so be it; you might well be right. No matter how you or I characterize it, I certainly didn't "ignore" my role. I didn't set out to "expose" anyone, just to analyze viewpoints. All viewpoints, however, are ultimately personal viewpoints, they stem from who we are, our experiences.
Is the back-and-forth on this forum annoying? Probably. So was WoW. WoW was an annoying back-and-forth that was compelling because it had a certain genuineness to it. It lost a lot of that appeal when it became less genuine and compelling and started to over-insulate players from themselves and others. As I've said, this forum is less of a "hurr durr" than most of the rest of the internet, which says more about the rest of the internet than anything else.
So rather than post less, why not post more? If you don't like what's being said, why not say something better?
