So while my account is getting unbanned and restored, i figured i'd catch up on my movie watching. So i ask you FUBU outside of the films below which i have already watched, what are some good films to kill the time.

List so far:
Zombieland
Inglorious Bastards
Hurt Locker
Surrogates
Gamer
Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus
Invention of Lying
Avatar
Daybreaker
Cloudly with a Chance of Meatballs
Gran Torino
The Hangover

Any catagory is acceptable, yet i am more bias toward recent movie and those of non-horror aspects. Just not a fan of horror movies.

LET THE GREAT EXPERIMENT BEGIN!

I really enjoyed this one.

None of these are really new, but worth watching if you've never seen them before.

American Beauty (1999)
The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou (2004)
Almost Famous (2000)
The Pursuit of Happyness (2006)
Juno (2007)

V for Vendetta.

If you're one of those people who likes the comic book better, go to hell. The movie was fantastic.

AGREED SIR...Additionally i found The Spirit a quite excellent movie too. Samuel Jackson as the octopus was most excellent.

This is not a list of my favorite films; just a list of some really good ones in no particular order. Enjoy.

Sideways
Once
The Lives of Others
Crash
In Bruges
Pan's Labyrinth
The Wrestler
No Country for Old Men
Brokeback Mountain
Vicki Cristina Barcelona

American Beauty was the one about the horse (loosely based of THE BLACK STALLION) right?

I'll check Life Aquatic because i heard that was an excellent movie

Saw Juno, was meh, Michael Cera playing another young kid, and a wierd kid who uses awesomely strange lingo, it was good wouldn't watch it again.

Dunno will look into Life Aquatica, and according to my old roommate some movie called "Religulous"

Also this thread is now a discussion of all good movies and critiques of other people's suggestions IN A CIVILIZED MANNER!

Let's see. Judging from the ones on the list you've seen, I'd say you'd like the others in this order:

No Country for Old Men
The Wrestler
The Lives of Others
Once
Sideways
Vicki Cristina Barcelona
Brokeback Mountain

The last three are more great acting and story over fast paced.

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
Memento
Battle Royale
The Darjeeling Limited
Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
(though it falls short from the novel it was still entertaining)

You should also re-watch all of the original Indiana Jones movies because they're awesome.

Akiina - Priest - Royal Militia
Leeloo Minai Lekarariba-Laminai-Tchai Ekbat De Sebat

There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far.
