Why are you so awesome?

Anyways, since I don't feel like making two threads, Second Topic: Desktops!

So, when I put something on my desktop, project I'm working on, new music, random pictures, etc. I typically leave it there. About once every couple of months, my desktop gets filled or close to it so I then have to store everything in it's respective folder, leaving me with like 4 icons. Then my desktop looks brand new! Does anyone else do this or am I just wierd?

I don't personally do that, because I hate the look of a cluttered desktop.

However, this is not unheard of. My boss at work has one of the most cluttered desktops I've ever seen.

Ironically, if you were to come to my apartment, you'd see that I'm quite cluttered in general. It seems as though I dislike desktop clutter, yet can handle it in all other forms.

Ah the human condition, such a mystery...

I think of it like a haircut. It looks good one way or the other, but in between it just feels sad. Though I prefer my desktop clear cause then I can see my kickass wall paper! Which changes about as often as my avatar! Speaking of which

My desktop on my home pc stays relativly clean. Only 6 or so icons since I only really use it for WoW and online banking. My work desktops (laptop and tower) tend to get cluttered as hell because I save alot of reports and configurations to they desktop on the fly. I will then go back either at the end of the day or week and move them to the proper folders. I have a folder labeled "crap that may need to go" that I dump things that may not be needed but I dont want to kill them off.

Added the pic of my laptop background. I have an external monitor hooked up so it throws the picture off a bit.

Mine get's pretty messy at work. A lot of the crap on my work desktop is actually personal stuff, too. It's a laptop plus secondary monitor. I need to clean it up sometime...

Cleanliness is next to godliness.

My desktop is currently a disaster. Slightly worse than Eternal. Stuff that's important is sorted properly, everything else is a crap shoot.

I've resorted to throwing everything that I would normally save on the desktop to a folder so it looks slightly more clean.
