I live in central Pennsylvania, I'm so sick of hearing about it.

The people who commited actual crimes will be punished. Paterno did only what was required of him by law, a technically correct but morally deficient action.

Paterno needs to go, a lot of the coaching staff needs to go, there isn't much else that will happen to them so this is all the punishment they'll get. Penn state has to start axing people or the program won't recover for the next decade (not that I'd give a shit either way).

No, and he won't be charged with anything because he fulfilled his "legal obligation" by informing his superiors. Now it's his "moral obligation" that was probably not filled...which is why the public outrage...and which is why for the first time since 1966, Joe Paterno is not the head coach of Penn State football.

I never liked Penn State and I have never known a decent person who attended/graduated from Penn State (main campus). Of all the things wrong in the world and you decide to riot over this shit? I can understand a rally to show support, but turning over a tv van? Fuck each and every one of them.

I attended PennState (main campus) for a year and a half. Can we still be friends? In my defense, I transferred to and graduated from Rutgers instead.

And I never went to a PennState football game.
