A part of me wants to be a father but I know myself well enough to know that I would have great difficulty accepting a child that would not meet my enormous expectations. That, and I'm only interested in having a son.

I don't want kids. Or to be married. With the caveat that I may change my mind depending on the woman.

I want a son, but I also want a daughter...I just won't speak to her from age 13-25.

I just remembered it, and it made me lol.

My teacher once told me when I asked her she said

a girl from birth to about 12.

boy from 12 to 18. all you gotta do is make sure he washes and feed him.

then the girl from about 25 and up since hopefully she's matured a bit.

I want a boy first and then a girl. Maybe a year or two apart in age. He's going to help beat the shit out of her boyfriends for me.

I actually want a daughter. I've always considered myself a protective person, and I enjoy being protective of my mom and sisters. That said, I also want a son just so that when my wife and I catch him knocking boots one day, we'll yell at him like nuts but when the wify leaves the room I can give him a high-five and quietly say "that's my boy!"

I had several instances of Didn't Matter: Had Sex this year that if viewed optimistically aren't really pitiful and depressing.

Unfortunately, I'm not one of those, "yeah, I tagged that" kind of people, so this year was mostly a bust. Did get a really nice job, though. I guess that's worth something.
