It was ongoing when I started. I don't think I would have thought as highly of the game if it wasn't. To someone just starting out the event was awesome. There wasn't much I could do at low levels but I really dug the server working to make a change in the game. It set a high bar for wow that it's static world never attained. QD Isle wasn't too bad, but it was so fucking small and those quests got annoying as shit (but the pvp was great).
