Feminism. It really is that simple.
Feminism, and no one and nothing else, propounded the idea that marriage and family should exist solely at the whim of the female partner, who should have all sorts of exclusive incentives to break it up at no cost to her.
In any other time and place and according to any other thinking the notion would be outrageous. And the great irony is that when the fiat money dries up, these feminists - and with them, all women - will lose the protections of both the unsustainable system they've created, as well as the protections of chivalry.
Kids who grown up under the status quo will become disaffected and uncontrollable. And I will be the rule and not the exception when I fail to shed a tear in 20 years women dare not go outside for fear of violent and angry male gangs like nothing in the Middle East who are restrained by neither the new system nor the old.
