Also, Fallout 1 and Fallout 2. They're grimy in the way all modern games wish they could be (read: it's rusty and brown but it looks good instead of looking like shit), the comedy's blacker than hell, and you can do anything you want. Ever. Including murder children.

Don't play Fallout 3, it's trash in comparison.

I'm thinking of playing Fallout, but yeah, the griminess is irritating from what I see, and the dialogue interface looks tacky as hell...I hope the entire game isn't that tacky.
