Our country was founded on the principle that all men are created equal. Not just whites, not just whites and black males, not just heterosexuals. We may never get it right the first time. But the best part about America is that we can keep trying and go on being the amazing wonderful country that we are.

Denying someone marriage (which is a legal matter handled by the state, with the church recognizing part of it as a spiritual matter) is abridging their privileges.
In case you can't tell. I feel very strongly about this and feel that just because someone is something not myself, does not mean they should lose their rights without being convicted of something.
