Not many of us have ancestors with cities names after them! :D But come to think of it, Trasee's ancestors started Mineral Wells. But, that branch of your tree was cool about using maiden names as middle names for kids. Good thing for you and Jonathon that they didn't choose to continue that tradition with you using your Grandma Juanita's name, imo. Educated, too. Attorneys, School Superintendents, Town founders... Now, I wonder how far this goes.

I share my grandmother's middle name, she wasn't left out! lol

@Weena, my name doesn't start with a J but everyone else in my immediate family has a first name beginning with J.

My family naming convention is: "Grandparent first name" "Grandparent first name" "Family Name" male names for male, female names for female

as a result my name is very ubiquitous

Also, the only cool family naming conventions is giving your first son the same middle name as the father.
