I think both sides of this are right.

There is some bullshit in there like the obama meeting thing(but its politics so hey) just like there's some people who might end up dead(I'm sure there's military dispositions and such in there, or people helping USA that shouldn't be).

I don't think gov't should get a free pass to do what they want and just classify it if it's illegal, but I respect the fact that sometimes secrecy is the only way to achieve a goal.

I don't konw enough about whats in there to say specifically what, but you're smart aestu, you can figure out some scenarios.

The last leak had the names of some informants who turns on the Taliban/Al Qaeda. Those people were at risk.

This one may put intelligence personnel and ambassadors at risk. Additionally, it could spark anger against the US and Americans over seas may be targeted for attacks. Lastly, it may compromise future efforts since anyone [enemies] can see how our intel is gathered, what intel has been gathered and they can change their methods of movement, communication, intel, etc.

Ever run an Islamic country where you're controlling the media, and releasing to the public that you're the ones attacking the AQ bases, then have it leak that you're just the US military's bitch?

Even politics are tactical.

If the information is classified, it's the responsibility of the government and its agents to keep it that way. Whoever is responsible for the release of such information on the government end is responsible, not the media outlets that disseminates it after it become available.

I think they're going to deep fry the guy that leaked. Not sure they can (or should) do anything to the wikileak idiots.
