You know, I had actually never played a Pokemon game (video or card) for the longest time until about a year ago. It's fun, but I really don't see the mass appeal of it. It's probably just me, though.

If you only picked it up a year ago, you missed the indoctrination phase....

I effin love pokemon. That shit was my childhood right there. I have one of every generation because I always had at least one friend willing to get the other version. Red, Silver, Crystal, Ruby, Leaf Green, Pearl, and Soul Silver. In fact, I'm taking my DS to England with me! Gonna probably start a new SS game like I always do when I go on vacation lol.

If anyone wants to pokenerd it up sometime, lemme know. I will out-nerd you any day.

@Cally - I was 10 when pokemon came out, it was the best game I had ever played. Your kids will def love it.
