Most stupidity is due not to lack of information or intelligence, but a common form of human weakness: people who instinctively recoil from challenging their established ways of thinking.
Then those people look around, see that they live on a planet full of
other idiots, and make moronic statements like, "People are stupid", or "Life sucks", or "Opinions are like assholes". And they never quite grasp the disconnect between their disdain for all the other idiots on planet Earth...and why it just so happens that they, too, buy into all the same BS as everyone else. In reality, of course, those people are the dumbest fucks of all.
In this narrow example: the facts have been presented, but you don't engage them, you just write them off with an internet meme. Which is what internet memes are: emblems of mass stupidity.
Your frame of reference is especially idiotic since anyone who knows my world view well knows that my attitude towards authority is not one of denial or defiance but one of accountability and rationality. So you either didn't think before forming your opinion or you don't have the capability to do so. Which is it?
And, Azelma, this is why I honestly think you should go throw yourself under the wheels of a truck. You praise my intelligence but like every other INCURABLE moron on this planet who does so, you write off that which can be conceptualized by that which you lack. I made the analogy earlier of a creationist munching on GMO fava beans.
