Probably.

In any case, it'll be hilarious because they'll get some conservative pundits talking about how the game is destroying America and it will be painfully obvious that they haven't actually played the game.

Such as what happened here:

So is L.A. Noire better or worse than Red Dead on a general scale? I absolutely loved the latter.

Damn, I'll check it out then. I heard it's fantastic but way more linear than RDR.

You don't get to choose cases but its basically like being on one real long mission. You get som variety depending on how you do but yeah. You get side missions though if you wanna do them.

everyone i've talked to said that most of the side missions are a complete bore though. like, to the point that they actually take away from the game.

supposedly the main stuff is pretty good though.

I don't think so. Its not a full fledged story or anything but its a nice break for me after I investigate stuff to shoot some crazies.

I pretty much just did the main cases. The story was pretty good, the main character isn't the mary sue most game characters are.

I did a few side cases but they all ended with trips to the morgue. Not sure if there was a peaceful way to end those. One of the problems with the chases is lack of choice. Most of the foot chases only required you to keep running in the direction of the criminal. They end with a warning shot, tackling the guy, or they take a hostage and you shoot them. However, you can't just do those things at any time. You have to wait until you're prompted to tackle someone, so until you're prompted you can do anything but keep running. Same with warning shots.

Didn't play the first one but I'm enjoying Witcher 2. The first 'fight' I died like 7 times because there is no option to invert mouse and the combat was awkward as fuck. A lot of cutscenes so far, but I'm not very deep into it.
