+1 war = 3 now
& no repeal of the patriot act.

fyi, romney won't change it either- so I wouldn't look in his direction if you're searching.

Why are people talking like he's going to be the nominee? He's still mormon and he's a moderate, so he'll never get the vote of the tea partiers or the religious right.

No, it's really not, and it's the biggest reason he won't get the nomination, especially now that he's done his "I stand by my incredibly stupid idea" speech. You can tell who isn't going to get the nod based on how favorable their coverage in the press is...anyone being treated nicely by the majority of the press isn't someone who is going to get the nomination.

Today while I was on the blue-line between Springfield-Franconia and the Pentagon, there are a bunch graffiti murals that say, "Mr. Obama, we need jobs."

1. because in amurka anythings possible.
2. imo you give the religious right too much credit, the powerholders are held by "Neo-Cons". Mitt is music to their ears and bubbles the rhetoric in his sleep.
3. he came pretty close to getting the nomination last time, and mccain got it almost by name recognition alone- not that he didn't have a few good things on record.

imo

edit: but yeah jubber said it- if he doesn't get it, he won't simply because he's marketing himself to not be like obama, when his healthcare in MA shows that he is infact much like the president; all too blatantly. Orombneycare

I'm pretty sure GWB is among the worst presidents - according to at least four of six polls, he has scored a 31 or worse. His first 2 years in office were met with high marks thanks to 9/11, but after that it was a very quick decline. Sorry, retardicans, but just as Democrats cannot separate ourselves from Jimmy Carter (an exceptional human being, but not president), you fools cannot separate yourselves from GWB. In addition, Carter has an aggregate score of 27, compared to Bush's 34.

Actually, you're going to need to dig a little deeper. A lot of republicans realize their mistake with GWBush, via the tripling of the debt, expansion of government, imperialist wars, bailouts... when the opposite was marketed to them: "a humble foreign policy, no nation building, limited government". That's right, either straight up lied to, or someone's principals didn't hold up when the going got tough. Oh wait, he cut taxes tho right. Very similiar to Obama, he ended Don't Ask Don't Tell right? He's keeping all his promises... riiiight. lol

to upset republicans you have to bring in the gipper. That's right, the great communicator. The one who single handedly returned america to its colonial state by empowering those rules and egos we fought against in The Revolution... we turned our sovereignty back over to fear, to cops, to the black markets(prohibition 2 failure: the drug war), and worst of all, the politicians(dem FDR was pretty bad about this one too,WW2 Japcamps and government takeovers).

See Nixon for ending the Gold Standard and beginning the further decline of our currency via the Federal Reserve System (there's nothing 'federal' about it), and ending our covert relationship with Tibet (freedom) and opening the gateway of hell with China whose current government just happens to be one of the worst examples of respect for human liberty in existence (see: Mao- killer of nearly 50 million during "a time of peace", including 10 million tibetans).

This is why true lovers of the american spirit, liberty, justice, and a republic-lead democracy(who have educated themselves on it) will not be worshipping those names with (R) next to them, the list goes on for both parties, and could go on for days and days tbh.

Taste the american blame the other partyism

doesn't matter who you vote for, you're fucked anyway.

been the case for decades prior to you being born. your determination is admirable, though.

edit: oh hey, 142 minutes past midnight on the 141st day.

Give it 20 years. There's still a lot of people butt-hurt that their party couldn't front better candidates than Man-bear-pig and Lurch to beat a retard in an election. Carter is still the worst, by far.

Didn't a lot of people love Bush because he did this whole "I'm sticking to my ideals" shtick?

This is getting very, very confusing.
