I don't care if I'm grouped up with a kid as long as he's not getting on my nerves. Even then, the guy who can't stop parroting 4chan shit is much worse than the kid.

Extremely rich guy kills two brits with his car, leaves scene, lies to police about it. He has over 50 traffic violations and a history of drug abuse. He pleads after it's clear Illinois was going to send him back to Florida to do time on something else. His punishment? 2 years of house arrest (in his parents mansion), and he has to pay restitution to the wives. He could have served 45 years.

This is going to get a lot more prevalent I'm thinking. I also read somewhere that many police are being coached to repeat "stop resisting" when in any kind of physical altercation with someone to give the impression to onlookers that it's the victim's fault. The recent videos I've seen of police going too far seem to support that claim, that's usually what they're yelling when they're wailing on someone in handcuffs.

If you're wailing on someone in handcuffs, you're getting fired if you're caught. Thats the rule around here anyway.

But you can do whatever you have to so that those cuffs go on.

Keep in mind most of the time cops are dealing with bad guys, its not people like you.

That's the problem, too many officers are being kept on after repeated offenses. They're the ones you read about after they shoot somebody without a good reason.



If you're actually resisting that's one thing. Getting slammed to the ground because you're fighting the arrest is fine. Kicking someone in the face because they're video taping you, shooting a kid because he's hiding in a shed, there are a lot of shady things going on. That certainly doesn't mean all cops are bad, but there are problems with the organization that perpetuate and excuse these kind of blatant issues.

And do it in a town with a lot of crime.

That doesn't excuse the behavior we've talked about in this thread. If an officer can't control themselves they shouldn't be an officer.

Yeah, except with the media being as fucked up as it is, you hear about the one out of thousands of calls a year that go badly. you dont' hear about the cops who do their job right. they're not all that bad.

I think his point is that none of them should be that bad. They're the police for a reason.

If destruction exists, we must destroy everything.
