FPSes are only stagnant because everyone is a terrible piece of shit and doesn't understand how Quake and Unreal are the only true way to frag.

@Eturnal, I lied, BF3 demo is starting now

It is stunning. Absolutely stunning. Going to need a super computer to run it though.

Building/terrain destruction is awesome.

No silly RMT like CoD:Elite

Open beta in September (multi-platform)

Eturnal, if you can manage to find a video of it, 100% recommend it. It's ridiculous.

Wrex was in the ME3 demo. It instantly wins.

Unique soldier melee skill looks nifty, I'm curious as to what the other classes will get. (I know adept gets biotic blades that impale people)

I also like how they do the promos now. I'm a massive faggot and I decided to do the charity donation for buying Magicka (and getting a pro hat!). Needless to say, I've been playing with Danzor and without TF2 I wouldn't have gotten either this game or PvZ.

For the pure amount of shit, there's the indie gems like Magicka and Terraria. Can't wait for Microsoft and EA to shit on indie developers like Amheiser Bush and Miller/Coors are doing in that beer thread.

PS: I read some article that ME3 is less about the plot and more about the shooting. They're changing it to appease the CoD crowd just like they did with DA2.

of indie games, I really wish Journey wasn't a PS3 exclusive.

And I haven't heard that at all about ME3. They're pretty much attempting to get the same feel of ME2 (- mining) with adding in more weapon customization and a longer plot. We'll see though...

edit: also, E3+Anthony Bourdain = very pleasant afternoon

Batarian husks are creepy. Having reapers drop out of the sky is awesome. As is Anderson as a squadmate.

sexed up ash is NOT cool
