Honestly, you're right on with this. Though to be fair, I don't think I've ever sworn to never talk to Aestu again, definitely not anywhere in this thread. I don't see the current direction improving, so I'm going to discontinue the back and forth in this thread because someone has to be the one to end it.

I'm really just saddened by it all, he's just alienated damn near everyone on these boards despite all efforts to remain civil on our part. I don't regret the effort I've put into getting through to him, it's never too late as far as I'm concerned. Even if he only realizes it in the subconscious years down the road with some other yet-to-be-alienated group of peers.

The last thing I'll say aestu is that if that's how you plan on making your difference then you should prob look for a forum where people don't want to argue with most of the things you say.

Wait, Aestu, so if you believe that you're making a difference on this forum by arguing with us and trying to get us all to see things the way you see them....then you must believe that we all (or at least some of us) have the potential to make a difference in the world?

Basically, if you convince us that the US Marines are evil - do you believe that someone on this forum will then either directly make a difference (idk, protest the marines?) or tell some other people, who will tell other people, and soon everyone will know that marines are evil?
