Did you know one of the common fixes for electrical problems is doing a 'discharge'? Just unhook the battery cables and touch them together and problems disappear. I wonder what the cost for that is.
Haven't you ever had to do this with a keyboard or monitor or some other piece of computer hardware?
...when I was in high school, I charged $40 for the service.
No, I haven't.

A friend of mine had a VW jetta years ago. That car was odd. I sped over the Verrazano twice with it. After I gave it back, my friend accused me of getting the transmission fixed while I had it. Fucking weird car.
The older Jettas are amazing (95 and so). My 95 Jetta has 300k miles yet still drives like it did all those years ago, AND gets more MPG than half the vehicles built today. The biggest problem was it burned oil. Currently driving a 96 Jetta I bought from my cousin for 1k which only has 140k miles on it. Drives exactly the same without burning oil and slightly less body rust. The only thing it doesn't have is power windows but who gives a damn.
If people knew the cost of fixing basic things such as headlights they wouldn't buy these new cars. If you have those Xenon headlights and one breaks that could cost you $800. Not to mention changing the oil by yourself is impossible on some vehicles. Good job team.
