My guess is that they're bringing back the swirly ball for rogues, the old "detect trap" or whatever it was called. Just a cosmetic toy.

If the Vanish thing meant to trick the opponent or is it initially obvious that you vanished? This is important to me.

My comparison with FD was that I can't see how it could be any more convincing than that ability in PvP. It fools terrible players, and even skilled ones who aren't mindful of enemy health might pause for a fraction of a second.

Mirror Images can be a bit more confusing. But rogues are a melee class with specials, not casters that stand there spamming nukes or a corpse on the ground. I can't imagine the image would fool anyone.

Yeah that'd be the idea. Anything less is just for shits and giggles and taking advantage of dumbshits. I do like shits and giggles, but this could be pretty powerful.

Look at it this way, vanish drops targetting and maybe they can target the image, chances are it will be slightly annoying either way
