I know it was hard for me and I didn't eat or sleep for 4 days. I too made sure to drink lots of water. We were only together for about 8 months though so I can only imagine how you must feel.

Its the persons attempt to rectify emotional pain with physical pleasure. No one is saying the purpose of a rebound is to find the love of your life.

When my 5 year relationship ended, I tried to rebound for all the same reasons. Trouble was, I am terrible at rebounding/picking up chicks. I ended up just getting super drunk and making an ass of myself.

Rebounds are horrible. Especially if you are the rebound. Nothing worse than falling for a guy who has too much emotional baggage to love you back.
