Thanks, and congrats on your lil' ones birthdays.

As they say, "Welcome to the terrible twos"...(squared)...

Terrible twos started 4 months ago, far as I'm concerned. But my kids are uncharacteristically well behaved when not going apeshit, so it's all good.

if (for some strange reason) i end up having a child, he will not speak until spoken to, wear suits every day, read voraciously on my command, and will be required to complete calculus equations before any cookies are administered.

It seems like 90% of my friends have kids. One likes to bring her kid over cause she's not-dating my roommate. This means I am stuck listening to probably the most pissed off child I've ever been near scream all day, and have to tiptoe around my own house when it's asleep.

I want a boy and a girl. I'm weird and have names picked out, though kids are at least 5 years off for me.

I don't know how old you are, but you look pretty young in your pics, like 19-20? That's pretty crazy unless your friends are older, what do they do with their lives, are the guys still even in the picture? Majority of my friends are 23-25 and kids aren't on any of our agendas, let alone marriage. The only friend who is probably considering those sort of things is probably the person I'd consider least capable out of all of them lol.

What happens if your significant other disagrees with the names!?

I'm 22. My friends have kids ranging from the ages of 1-3. Two were married and are divorced, one was engaged and then left her bro for my ex. Two or three are still with the guy.

And my s/o agrees with the name. I had to compromise on one cause his mom really liked a name. But I'm okay with it.

I hope if I ever become a parent my son is nothing like me.
However, if i have a daughter I hope she is exactly like me.

Should have given the Full Metal Jacket opening "speech".
