just noting some redundancy and attempting elitism.

i mean i could just store my stuff on an aix box and use system volumes and just say "check out what my df says, it's in blocks currently allocated based on a predefined block size that i have to do this other task to retrieve for you."

but well, yeah. that'd be a bit much. :)

I give you props for recognizing a BSD-style output. Don't go screw it up by dragging IBM into it, or I'll have to pull the SGI box out of my trunk and confuse the crap out of both of us. It's been riding around in there for 10 years now, no reason to go mess with it.

Please don't bring IRIX into this, or I might have to wind up the drives in my sparcstation 5 and remember how to use that too :(

(pictured: SS20, Fujitsu clone of a Sparc5, Ultra Sparc5, VAXStation 2000, IBM Station ... 320?, several random AT-style peecee cases, record player, Turbo NeXT slab)

The rest of the room is just as cluttered as the closet.

All this thread has made me think of is this:

"Ok we aren't such things and birds are pretty advanced. They fly and shit from anywhere they want. While we sit on our automatic toilets, they're shitting on people and my car while a cool breeze tickles their anus. That's the life."

it's not you. It's another guy named Mike, I believe his WoW name was Samenai or Samarei or some shit. Shoe's just got a bad memory.

Wait, really?

It even sounds like Chimp. My whole life is a lie, I don't know what to believe anymore.

Comcast sent me an email about 2 years ago saying that they were aware of suspicious activity and possible downloading.. I was DL'ing the 4th season of entourage. The email scared me out of downloading, and I have not touched any sort of torrent or limewire or w/e since because I am afraid they have mi IP address on record or some shit.. am I just being paranoid?

I'm pretty sure it was screenlooker. Was Talbert's name even Mike? I feel like it should've been more Jewish.

I used Demonoid until my account my mysteriously closed after a bit of inactivity. Send invite plz? ^_^

Nvm. A buddy created a fake e-mail account for me and used it to register my account. No wonder I thought the account was canceled when the password recovery didn't recognize my e-mail. :P

On topic - Trying to find a discography of Sister Machine Gun and Modwheelmood. The two at Demonoid aren't seeding and I'm too scared to venture to other websites.

Am I just stupid? How hard is it for anyone (Feds, RIAA, etc) to track your torrent activity... and is visiting sites like TPB illegal?

Halp?
