I am hardcore. I look at all my blocks in kilobytes.
That's just how I roll.
Don't be hatin'.
just noting some redundancy and attempting elitism.
i mean i could just store my stuff on an aix box and use system volumes and just say "check out what my df says, it's in blocks currently allocated based on a predefined block size that i have to do this other task to retrieve for you."
but well, yeah. that'd be a bit much.

I give you props for recognizing a BSD-style output. Don't go screw it up by dragging IBM into it, or I'll have to pull the SGI box out of my trunk and confuse the crap out of both of us. It's been riding around in there for 10 years now, no reason to go mess with it.
Please don't bring IRIX into this, or I might have to wind up the drives in my sparcstation 5 and remember how to use that too

/tip hat.
I got one of those. And a SS20. And...oh hell with it...
(pictured: SS20, Fujitsu clone of a Sparc5, Ultra Sparc5, VAXStation 2000, IBM Station ... 320?, several random AT-style peecee cases, record player, Turbo NeXT slab)
The rest of the room is just as cluttered as the closet.
