No, I honestly believe these people are modern-day barbarians. How they treat their women is one part of the larger picture that is their lifestyle. Tribalism is another - and even more telling.

Also, if Ron Paul is seen as the father of the Tea Party movement (where it's not about racism, but reducing the size of government, reducing government spending and trying to pay down the debt), then how are you able to throw your support behind a man made the path towards a movement that you hate? Tea Partiers share many, many views with Ron Paul... so does that mean you share a lot of the views and opinions of the Tea Party?

So you are proposing to kill 28 million people because they don't share your culture? That doesn't sound at all barbaric or tribalistic.

I finally watched the 'tube. Well.. listened + did stuff,
Ron Paul was 9/10 of his usual uber.
Gary Johnson was fairly uber,
and Herman Cain was reasonable but I don't know him well enough to make a fair assessment of his goals / principles.
Rick Santorum (a good family man but politically a complete "yes man" with whatever the GOP wants him to do)
Tim Pawlenty seems like a bright fellow with a moderate past, a well-coached and trained politician who might be a nice guy but he's a Neocon on foreign policy (preventative war / bush/obama style more o the same etc)

And that's what I've gathered, without getting into all the details. imo. imo

I didn't say that and you know it. What I said is that is one strategy amongst several to deal with the situation.

And in no way was i advocating genocide. I just don't understand how you can defend a group of people that so shits on half their own population based on their piping.

Thinking that genocide against another culture would be reprehensible is not the same as agreeing with everything they do. I'm pretty sure there are approaches we can use to promote women's rights in such countries that don't involve killing 28 million people. Call me crazy if you want.
