You are more than welcome to warcraftrealm compare it. He was inactive at the time, yes.

You missed me because you shouldn't fantasize about my return to WoW.

I still have images of shooting rockets at you in Sholazar Basin burned into my head.

I will admit, I did recently recall our dancing in the basin. In a good way, that is.

Not at all. You make remarks to that effect in this very thread.

When you quit WoW you had everyone you knew get on vent and listen to you give a salvia-fueled rant about life in the Stone Age and how this connected to how you were quitting WoW. The topic of the rant/meeting was supposed to be a surprise, at least in your mind, as if anyone was actually surprised. It was the most anticlimatic thing ever.

You wanted it to be a HUGE deal you were quitting WoW. And by corrolary you have wanted it to be a HUGE subject of speculation if and whether you'll return.

You do know that Krunkz owns the account and placed an authenticator on it, correct? Please project more with your posts of "I will/won't return in patch X".

I remember that. I was doing Iron Dwarf, Medium Rare (25) with Tempest at the time.

You were in the second day with Kumori, the salvia only came into play 2 weeks after that "meeting", and Kumori also said the same thing that Kay said recently.

For those not in the know, the concept was pretty simple. Dooj approached me with a series of questions around the same time I was being assaulted in dreams by "voodoo people". Two weeks later, I had that "rant" to reflect and close a chapter. 6 months later, Haiti.

This page is interesting when you read salvia as saliva the entire way through the first time

I remember I got a special Synth address shortly after that since I missed the main one, and round 2.

Anyway, to bring this back on topic...I just got sent a scroll of resurrection. Should I take it?

To complicate matters I finally picked up my Mass Effect 3 collectors edition...hmmmm

I'd resub for this, honestly.

10-man raiding is fail. 10s are basically bigger 5s, and they're very hard to run as a going concern because a smaller roster means that the loss of any one member is a much more severe blow to the whole, and you can't run a waitlist or adjust comps as easily. 25-mans are not only more "epic" but also lend themselves to being run as a going concern.

Sadly, false elitists and socially impaired persons abound in the game now, so you have on the one hand people convinced no one is so good as their butt buddies, and on the other, socially retarded people who can't function outside a clique.

The chance of this happening in WoW is less than zero. WoW is a dead letter.

The question is, what GW2 brings. From what we know, the structure of GW2 seems to more than lend itself to such a "run around and tear things up" FUBU guild.

I'd have more interest in a 25 man guild, as well as a different game. I would prefer 25 man raiding any day, however my unconventional schedule makes it damn near impossible.

10-mans are far harder on a schedule than 25s.

25s have fixed times and less downtime. 10s have more downtime and your schedule must conform to whenever the majority decides to schedule a raid.

10s are less stable and more likely to fail to accomplish their objectives in the slated time. In the likely event this comes to pass, you are out your time and no reward unless you compromise your schedule to show up again.

This holds true into 40s as well. 40s were very casual because only a very few members of the raid were involved in scheduling and for most people it was plug and go. Comps could vary quite a bit night to night.

It's easier to find 10 competent players who can make an unconventional raid time than 25. Most 25 man raiding guilds on Bleeding Hollow invite around 5-7 PM, and end around 10 PM - 12 AM. I work at 9 PM M-TH, and 8 PM on Sunday evenings. In addition to this, I try to not raid / play WoW in general while my girlfriend and kids are around. We live in separate residences, though I get a very small window of time to spend with them with the exception of the weekends so I try to maximize that time as much as possible.

I'm actually heading out right now, come to think of it. Grocery Store --> Gas perks --> Get Gas --> Dinner at her house..hopefully sexy tiemz?

As a going concern - no. Finding 10 players doesn't matter if the train stops when one leaves.

I recommend raiding with AUS/NZ people.
