Synth hits nail on head.
Me personally, sometimes I like Dominos, but really it tastes like what it is, a homogenized, mass-produced product that gets all its taste from salt and grease. That, and Dominos makes a point of hiring illegal immigrants (this is why they pay their employees in cash). I try to support Mom & Pop stores on principle. Diversity is good.
It surprises me that no pizza place in Boston I've yet seen offers artichoke hearts as a topping. Maybe a price issue, I don't know. (Ice is apparently also a luxury in Boston, again, don't get it). My favorite pizza toppings are artichoke & pineapple.
