Since my recent forced-hiatus from posting here, I had some extra time to set into motion my plans for a new guild here on Bleeding Hollow, called <BH Mod Squad>. Now that I'm back, I'm ready to open recruitment!
Guild Mission: to have a gchat which only discusses WoW-related things, while occasionally raiding.
With this being said, here is what you must know before you apply:
1. Only World of Warcraft will be discussed in Guildchat. If you aren't discussing raiding, PvP, gear, classes, or the fantastic work and commitment of Blizzard Entertainment employees, you are in danger of being punished.
2. If You discuss anything other than World of Warcraft, you will receive a ban from guild chat. Topics that cannot be discussed in guild chat include:
Any topic that would possibly build a sense of community. Community is not the goal of this guild, only discussing World of Warcraft is the goal.
Politics, religion, or differing economic systems. Any topic that might spark an intelligent, friendly discussion is forbidden as it could potentially lead to flaming, which would hurt the community that I don't want developing in the first place.
Liking buttz, mudkipz, lolcats, or any other internet meme. These are childish endeavors that give people amusement, but are unrelated to this fantastic game. Therefore, they are forbidden.
Aestu will not be discussed in guild chat. To that end, any words you type which may contain the letters 'A' 'E' 'S' 'T' or 'U' in them could result in a loss of your posting abilities in guild chat.
Our Punishment System is as Follows:
First Offense: 72 Hour Ban from Guild Chat - This is to give you time to think about how your off-topic guild chat postings have hurt everyone reading guild chat emotionally, and possibly physically. We will make every effort to delete anything you've ever said (on-topic statements as well) in guild chat from our logs during this time. This is in order to completely purge the guild of your social poison.
Second Offense: Week-long ban, and public flogging at the Eventide Bank - If you are still trying to build a community atmosphere through interesting discussions in guild chat, you are clearly not understanding the above stated goals of <BH Mod Squad>.
Third Offense: G-kick, plan and simple.
Classes: We have open recruitment for all classes, except DKs, because they are awful and need to be nerfed more. Rogues with delusions of grandeur will also have their applications summarily rejected.
Progression: We are currently 1/12 in regular ICC 10. I credit our stunning success with our intense focus on all things related to the World of Warcraft, as well as our firm rejection of any off topic discussion that could distract us from our goals and make the game more fun.
Finally, don't expect Guild Officers to talk to you in gchat. We will punish you, informing you about why you were punished via an in-game message. No one else in guild will know what has happened to you or why. As Guild Officers, it is our responsibility to not interact with the community at all, while policing it with a Stalinesque dedication.
