About suicide, that's strictly a personal choice, and nothing more. I don't believe it's immoral or pathological nor should it be illegal or actionable. Whether it is right or wrong is a question of why, not whether.
Incorrect. She dealt with a tragic end of someone she cared about, came online to a place of people who consider themselves a community, and saw salt in the wound.
The post she made reinforces the seriousness of the matter being discussed. You, as a person who is supposedly trying to be more sensitive about things in general should reread what you said in contrast to what she divulged.
