The worst I ever dealt with was a fake attention-suicidal not-quite-girlfriend in high school, so I'm pretty sheltered as this subject goes. Then again, I'm someone who's never been to a funeral (the only one I would've even gone to was unfortunately in another country) and I'm 24.

I know one rape victim. Considering how open she was about it, I'm assuming she was already over it by that point in her life, if you can be said to be over rape.

If destruction exists, we must destroy everything.

She put herself in that position. Your loss gives you no right to impose upon others' discourse. If the loss meant so much, mourn with dignity, don't interpose your loss.

About suicide, that's strictly a personal choice, and nothing more. I don't believe it's immoral or pathological nor should it be illegal or actionable. Whether it is right or wrong is a question of why, not whether.

Why's she get singled out? Incorrect. She dealt with a tragic end of someone she cared about, came online to a place of people who consider themselves a community, and saw salt in the wound.

The post she made reinforces the seriousness of the matter being discussed. You, as a person who is supposedly trying to be more sensitive about things in general should reread what you said in contrast to what she divulged.
