I'm pretty sure this was one of those shows that are supposed to show people what cops have to deal with in order to get them in a more positive light, or at least that was my take on it after watching it for a little bit.

in this particular instance its obviously not the media, but in general the media hates on cops. Some guy got shot down by a cop in my town after killing his mom with an axe. The suspect charged the cop with the bloody axe and the cop shoot the dude dead. The media went on about how the suspect was unarmed and police murdered him etc etc etc.

As much shit as ALL of us talk about the media, and you nitpick one example that I was clearly not referring to? C'mon mayo. You're supposed to be smarter than that.

I want a badge so that I too can justify putting 19 bullets into a guy pulling out his wallet.

But really though, cops just happen to be in a high-visibility position where anything questionable they do is going to be screened by an angry public that hates getting moving violations. Is it a problem that occasionally, a small, petty person is given a gun and the opportunity to misuse it? Sure. But if cops did more harm than good, we wouldn't have a police force.

Saw this one one drudge...

Cop tries to push her face out of the way since she's all up in their business. Chick hit the cop a couple times. The cop hit her back. That's fair, right?

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... 100258929#

Warning: EXTREMELY fucked up and graphic video of a cop that should have shot way earlier and paid the price because he didn't.

@ Eturnal, I'd hardly call that brutality or excessive force.

I remember that video from the thread where the cop shot the guy with the golf club. Very, very disturbing.

And I'm not mad that the cop punched the chick - she kinda deserved it.

We have no idea as to the context of what was going on but having a 100-150 pound woman trying to push your face away (when you're something like 250) doesn't give you a green light to punch her to the floor, arrest her, and drag her away.

Here's the thing though - whenever a cop approaches you and starts asking you to do shit...you just comply. You don't cause a fuss, and you DEFINITELY don't try to hit him (like this bitch did). She kinda deserved to get put the fuck down.

The difference between this video and the other one is compliance.

In the first situation, the guy was being completely compliant (aside from his initial lie about not living there) but he wasn't being confrontational/aggressive. In that situation, the cop was way out of line for stomping the shit out of him.

In this video, regardless of the entire circumstance, the lady is being confrontational and tries to strike the cop - so she got put down.

To me, that's the difference.

Pushing a face away and trying to punch the officer repeatedly are completely different; I'm not shocked that you wouldn't see that difference tho. I'm guessing you wouldn't have a problem with the outcome if it wasn't a 150lb woman, but a 150lb man, attacking the officer? Gender doesn't give her any special protections with the law so she was in the wrong.

Also, weight and gender aren't key in fights; a 100-150lb man/woman could easily drop a 250lb man/woman in a fight, especially if the lighter one is a better fighter. The woman who taught me TKD would easily handle most (probably all) of us here, even if we went at her with multiples at a time.

I was thinking about making a good sexual comment here about going at her multiples at a time...but then I google image searched and saw that she's not attractive.

It's assaulting a police officer, and yes it very much does, especially cuz she was swinging on him.

Does she bite? I don't know very much about fighting styles. I know which parts I don't want to be hit, and I know what shocks people.
