I understand your reasoning. As you mentioned in another thread, I believe it was about feminism, 'if you see a friend who thinks and believes in a flawed manner, you'd feel obligated to point it out.'
Paraphrasing a little bit here. I believe the general consensus among most posters is that you're a decent if not stellar bro who has an unfortunate habit of seeing the worst in people and their intents, and at the wrong times.
I sincerely believe Boredalt was speaking directly about Dagery without referencing you, without any veiled references to you. I don't think very many people would openly admit to such a thing either. By calling him out, you appear as the catty one, whether your concern is justifiable to you or not.
I don't think you're intending to be catty. I think you legitimately perceived it as an insult to you on Boredalt's part. I also don't believe this to be the case.
