Honestly I'd be a little bitch about spiders if there was a bunch of big hairy ass spiders with 8 beady eyes looking to kill me where I lived, but all the spiders I've seen are small and harmless. Hairy spiders = fuck that shit.

I'm not scared of spider but scorpions bother me, might have to do with the fact I've been stung by those bastards on more than a few occasions.

QFT fucking scorpions. They have been in my shoes and in my bed before and traumatized me as a child. Those bastards hurt -- though I'm not especially "afraid" of them more of a kill on sight thing.

I also have a major hatred for wasps. Bees are fine, but fucking paper wasps managed to traumatize me by nesting inside my tire swing and on the roof of my tree house when I was a child. Nothing like jumping onto your tire swing to be attacked by a nest of angry wasps.

I used to be scared of bears, but after spending 2 months a year camping in bear country during my undergrad and not having a single negative encounter I got over it.

I was viciously attacked by one of these once though

It's actually a termite. Some ants are pretty scary though - I've never been stung by fire ants but I imagine it's pretty awful, and bullet ants were the animal I was most afraid of when I was in Bolivia.

the lack of centipedes thus far has been pretty funny. maybe you just have to live in AZ to really appreciate the kings of ruining lives: pedes, rattlesnakes, violin heads, hourglass asses, bees of the most pissed breeds, tarantulas are fucking cool though, no one's afraid of them, they're furry and only scrape their ass hairs in your eyes and blind you if you get in their business.

the only insects i was ever freaked out by were mosquitos with a roommate and her boyfriend who both had HPV. my other roommate and i killed every single one manually with socks and then poisoned the place. the walls were covered in bitch roommate's biohazard blood. we hi5'd over hennessy.
