Guild Wars 2 looks a lot more innovative than GW1. GW1 was fun, but not to the extent WoW was.

GW1 has Guild vs Guild and your standard battleground type games. Both games will have no monthly subs but have microtransactions for reskins or option to buy stuff you could unlock in game.

Haven't played it in years so I can't say much else. I do know that Guild v Guild is where the competition goes.

I'm willing to bet all the money I don't have that with a linear world there will also be world pvp.

No world PvP. One faction. The large scale PvP will be between 3 servers at a time on large maps w/4 zones. Each pairing of servers will rotate on a weekly basis.
