people have different tastes. you can all stop pretending you're refined now.

I'm not the food snob that some are, but ketchup on mac and cheese is just gross.

Also apple cider vinegar for fries (fuck that mayo shit).

Just pointing out the one option that'll cause an outcry on a post decrying "unacceptable".

A horseradish sauce / ketchup blend works well for fries. I discovered that at a Roy Rogers back when I was 8. I personally don't like ketchup on everything, though. I don't even put it on a burger. When I have a BBQ, I still have ketchup for other people for their burgers, or hotdogs, or whatever. It's their choice.

I discovered eggs + tabasco when going on a road trip to New Orleans. Your acceptance of this does not matter.

Tabasco goes well on anything.

there's 3 ingredients. 2 of which are in ketchup. (which is why blending the two, preferably the sugar-using ketchup kind, is great for steak fries)

also, lol@lava. seatbelts!

steak? what about slipping another shrimp on the barbie?

tomato sauce > ketchup

people eat too much ketchup because they're addicted to sugar, and by the looks, ketchup is full of sugar, so they add it to everything that is bland.

however, down under, mate, tomato sauce is mostly tomato puree and is good on hotdogs (with mustard) and fries. i don't think i eat it on anything else. i know people who eat it with everything, though. ruining good food with sweetness.

"tomato concentrate made from red ripe tomatoes, distilled vinegar, high fructose corn syrup, corn syrup, salt, spice, onion powder, and natural flavors"

tomato sauce is usually made with tomato puree, tomato paste, reuse the paste can for water, sugar, onion powder, and some garlic. perhaps some olive oil. the sugar in that's required as well, because cooked tomatoes become bitter. you usually need a teaspoon per can of puree. you'd incur the wrath of an old italian grandmother if you said no sugar in tomato sauce.
