Yeah, I don't think I will stick around for long.

You questing or something? Leveling in not dungeons was garbage imo back in vanilla.

Edit: For druids.

if they made a private server that had all the questing refinements of cataclysm + all the quality of life improvements from across the entire game life, but only went as high as BC, I'd be down.

So apparently I can't get rank 2 or 3 of Mana Tide Totem and I can't train/find/pick up the quest for Devouring Plauge. Halp.

You can get 5x exp using some command so questing wouldn't be hard or bad at all. There is just so many small things that I cannot go back to having them be there. It wasn't until 2.1 or something until you could talk to NPCs while shapeshifted. Can't shift while mounted, can't shift from form to form, either I was doing it wrong or the macro system doesn't have a [stealth] option. This is what I remember from the 30 minutes in Org.

I'd be down for just a Scriptcraft equivalent of TBC.

Didn't think of all that, thought you were referring to feral/balance being garbage. Not sure if will matter much if I go resto, would be interesting to heal nef without having to stare at the floor for once now that I'm not using the worst PC known to man.

Kara pre-nerfs? Yes please. If Script rolls into TBC eventually that could be cool too. Was there a good event pre-tbc? I remember some tabard but not much else. Were you writing a macro w/ "stealth" instead of "prowl"? Or using stealth as "if [stealth] cast x" thing?

On an entirely different note, anyone know whether the server is PVP or PVE?

I don't think it would work well just like that. Have to use 2.whatever if you wanted useful talent trees at 60/70. I imagine building that kind of wow would be a pain in the ass. Unless using 4.0 world and 2.x gameplay is easy to do, fucked if I know.

Pretty sure it is pvp

/cast [stealth] Pounce(rank X);Claw(Rank X)

I pretty sure the ranks were required in the macros and I tried it with and without text in the parenthesis. Tried for 2 minutes then stopped caring because I remembered Maim doesn't exist so I just threw it on action 1. And #showtooltip doesn't exist because the "?" icon doesn't either lol.

Target self; type ".exp 5". 30,000exp (or maybe it's 300,000- I haven't done them yet) for Furbolg quests in Felwood.

If it's true that our species is alone in the universe, then I'd have to say the universe aimed rather low and settled for very little.

Alot of the common macro shortcuts we use today don't exist. You'd need an addon or have to write one of the really long codes to make good macros.

Example:
Code:
/script local i=0 g=GetPlayerBuff while not (g(i) == -1) do if(strfind(GetPlayerBuffTexture(g(i)), "Spell_Frost_Frost"))then CancelPlayerBuff(g(i))end i = i + 1; end

Also, try making a
Code:
.dismount
/cast Cat Form

macro

I think you'd have to hit it twice but it's better than clicking.

Or hotkey the mount. Shift-space, 3. Off mount and in cat. Ready to serve up hot cups of ̶m̶a̶n̶g̶l̶e̶ ...claw. /sigh

Didn't think of the first, but might work. The second one I didn't bother to try because of all the other things. There is just no way I can deal with that now.

For shifting direct bear > Cat I would think the following would work. Pretty sure it's how I used to cancelform eat pot and recast bear.

/script local GCD=GetSpellCooldown("Dire Bear Form")if GCD==0 then CancelPlayerBuff("Dire Bear Form")end
/stopmacro [form:1]
/cast Dire Bear Form

Uh, that's what it was after losing the use healthpot/healthstone lines... So I think you could run the first line multiple times to account for any of the wide variety of 4 forms(including boom, excluding aquatic), and toss in whatever form at the bottom. Command shouldn't go through and poop you out in caster if you got GCD ticking away. That worked in BC (i think that was it), but I didn't use macros in vanilla. Hell, I barely used hotkeys in vanilla.

Need someone who has any idea about vanilla macros to confirm/shit on this hypothesis.

Edit:(actually relevant to topic part of post) If I put Scriptcraft on an external and just unplug that shit whenever I use real-wow would I be completely and utterly safe from warden? Or do I really only need to make sure they are in different folders and not run them at the same time? Warden scares me.
