It's not that you didn't give a "textbook answer" (as if the strategy for that encounter is variable), it's that you didn't know what you would know if you did it as progression. (Granted, I didn't either).
Meh...

The bshout spam method you describe was used for aoe tanking. On single target it was totally impractical, especially since global aggro is divided across all targets in combat. Since there are only two twins and healing is substantial, bshout spam would not hold aggro. Getting proximity aggro would be suicidal since the aoe did a long-range knockback and hit extremely hard at 60. In that very video a warlock can be seen on the far side of the Twin, and the Twin turning to face him (you can clearly see his CoA go off each transition).
Took me a while to search old threads but... here ya go, just to shut you up.
Odd... a bunch of level 60's talking about the fight!Aestu wrote:
You recount the history of a certain guild (which isn't relevant) but you don't recount your own history (which is). Did you follow Last Stand through their iterations? If not, exactly what was your history? How long were you with Hellborn - four years, as you claimed?
My history... pretty much was terrible till middle of MC during vanilla, got picked up just after <Last Stand> formed and progressed through all of BWL with them topping out at
third on server. During Naxx I jumped up to <R I P co> which back then was top on server and cleared through 4HM not killing Sapph... go figure, not many guilds could anyways. When TBC hit I took a break and returned to <Last Stand> which I didn't hang around long because we lost a lot of our core to alliance or server transfers to Turalyon. I could not follow seeing as I was a college kid and out of a job to pay for things like that. About 5 months later joined up on Shattered Hand with some friends, landed a spot in <Hellborn> feeder guild and got in main stream. Clearing through all of SWP. WoTLK started up and we lost a lot of core with the new expansion and the remake of Naxx causing a rebuild for the guild. The game got boring... I stuck around for about as long as I could and ended up taking a job, right as we kill Yogg middle of May in '09, in Law Enforcement. The job killed my play time and basically caused me to lose all interest in the game. I came back to the game when Zigmo and Gnomepriiest talked about making a casual raid guild that would work around my days off. Just to see the content and still have time to do what we wanted. I agreed and came back server and faction transferring to BH which ruined a lot of my cheeves, either reseting them... or erasing them all together.

Do I need to apologize for apologizing? lol. Kind of funny how you go from selling yourself as "top 50 US" material to calling someone whose pugs you beg to join "trash", even though said pugs consistently outprogress and outperform your own guild, when by all accounts said guild's performance, being unable to down LK10, is commensurate with your own skill level.
I didn't call the pugs "trash". (Reading comprehension FTW) How ever... I do think you, yourself are not as good as you lead others to believe. (I guess before I was in a rage smashing the keyboard, so let me correct it. You are in fact better than a lot of people I have played with... pretty smart too. I just think you are relying on some intimidating persona you have to scare people into thinking you are a great player when that is far from the truth.)
The pugs are fun though... I have a blast meeting new folks that share the same interest as myself... having fun.

What I'm getting at here, Chusk, and my reason for engaging you initially, was simply curiosity about the truth of things.
There is a fine line of proving things... and making things up over the internet, Aestu.
