There's a big difference between going out on a crusade and trying to take out your trash out of your own home to a bin on your own property.

I was stopped and searched because someone "fitting my description" threatened someone else with a knife at the place I was walking to during a snow storm.

The cops apologized and offered me a ride.

You, on the other hand, got uppity and got the satisfaction of being able to pen a novel about the trials and tribulations of this trivial social interaction that successfully impeded your day.

Oh and a picture.

Yes, and I'm pretty sure the person saying "wut i do?" gets different attention than those that engage them in pleasantries.

I was travelling from my house to a store. They misunderstood and thought I was coming from the store, so they said I was going to be subjected to a search.

"May I ask why?"
"You meet the description of someone seen leaving that store, there was an incident there with a knife"
"You misunderstand me, I'm going *to* that store, but I understand that probably sounds too coincidental."

Now, what would happen if I responded differently? "You moron, I said I was going to the store, not leaving it, what's your badge number, I'm reporting you for harassment" just doesn't work when faced with people looking for a guy with a knife wearing a heavy winter coat, jeans, and a skull cap walking in a winter storm.

You're rewriting the story for yourself.

You want to act smart but everything you say is knee-jerk. And spare the the "NO U" in more flowery language.

Dude was a punk. After he finished being a punk I treated him like any punk should get treated.

You (both) blame me for not being Jesus but really that's just a shill for your refusal to actually think about anything.

Cop harasses person. Person accuses cop of being dick. Therefore, cop is justified in harassing person, because the person accused him of being a dick.

Because cops are never wrong, and to consider they might be, would require some of us to think independently. And that's just asking way too much for some of us.

Funny, there's quite a few posts on these forums about how you're never wrong and it's silly to think you might be.

I'm not rewriting the story. I'm telling you you have a pattern of failure that you can't seem to move past for many years.

You're a broken record. There's a double meaning to that too, and your bias is evident. Perhaps that pun won't escape you like your "puns" escaped your classmates.

PS: I love the irony of the half-jew whining about Jesus.

I can't imagine you accusing him of harassment while being anything resembling respectful.

Cop tells you not to go where you aren't supposed to be going, then I'm goign to go ahead and guess you started acting like a dick. End of story.

Oh wow, I didn't realize Tehra and Usdk were with Aestu when that situation happened. That explains why they know exactly how that situation should have been handled.

owate.

You guys are being silly. You weren't there, and yes there ARE cops who are dicks and love going on power trips. So why are you guys assuming the cop was right? How about they were both wrong? Or they were both right? Or even Aestu was right?

No? Cops are always right?

k.

EDIT: My personal pride bars me from taking shit from anyone, regardless of who they are. Who are you to tell me (or anyone) otherwise? Live and let live.

Do we have to be there to know what happened?

Aestu takes his trash out.
He crosses caution tape instead of walking around it.
Police officer stops him because he crossed the caution tape.
Aestu says there was 30 minutes of 'harassment'.
Aestu pens a novel.

This wasn't an issue of the cop kicking down Aestu's door and harassing him for hoarding corn oil. This was an issue of Aestu thinking he's more important than the safety concerns of the city and the police officer. Why should we assume Aestu was wrong? Because there's no assumption needed; Aestu was wrong by his own admission. Should we believe that Aestu was innocent and didn't provoke any checks from the cop? Absolutely not. In this thread (and others), Aestu has expressed his dislike for the police. Also, we've seen in other threads how Aestu will be a dick to whomever he needs to be a dick to if he feels he's right and they're wrong even though Aestu isn't always right, despite what he thinks. Don't forget he treats people like shit for simply doing their jobs (oh, hello professors, bank tellers/managers and WoW GMs). Aestu hasn't given us any reason to believe the cop harassed him for 30 minutes... in fact, he's given us every reason to believe he harassed the cop.

Faulty premise

cau·tion   [kaw-shuhn]
noun
2. a warning against danger or evil; anything serving as a warning: By way of caution, he told me the difficulties I would face.

I'm sure they weren't using CAUTION TAPE to ghettofy your neighborhood or impeed on your 'freedom' (to be an idiot), considering BUILDING RESTORATION SERVICES was on site.
