This actually kinda sucks. No matter what you thought of them, they got things done, and fast. They also brought alot of good players to the server. I have not looked to see what the Zodd reference is about but I am sure its a new guild or something.

Reminds me of when bucket finally ceased to exist as a raiding guild. But now Pantsless Wonder has brought many old bucketeers back, so maybe there will be a silver lining in this story too.

ppl quit, no recruits to replace them with i would imagine. same thats happening with a lot of guilds, recruitment sucks atm >.>

Couple things - why is recruitment so hard now? Are people just not into being in 1337 guilds any more?

Also..they had people pay to transfer over then they disbanded. I get they apologized, but if that were me...i'd be pretty pissed haha.

Unsure why TB is having recruiting issues. My guild has ~10 apps (2-3 good ones) a week. This week during our progression nights we've had 5-6 people sitting to replace people in raid if needed.

I have a feeling though, that TB probably is a lot more ridiculous in their recruiting -- a lot more stringent. This is obviously not a good thing since they couldn't find good people to fill their ranks. Also, at their level of progression, perhaps finding people geared enough to attempt hardmodes was just too difficult (especially if they weren't willing to gear out people) -- since the only thing you can do is poach from other top guilds. Also they seemed kinda douchey to me, so perhaps this perception hurt them.

Henq, I bet your guild is a lot more friendly and willing to take more chances on someone who may not have all the sexiest gear yet, but demonstrates a clear knowledge/skill at the game and isn't a total retard.

Right, and this is probably the biggest difference.
Someone coming in a bit under par for gear compared to the rest of the team can still display quality knowledge in their application and in the alt run.
We have a few members in blues who can easily outperform those in raid epics.
Skill is skill

I have heard stories about the TB recruitment being a little harsh.
Not necessaarily wrong, they were looking for a certain thing...but at the same time you completely close the door on your own recruitment and seal your own fate by doing that.

There is definitely something to be said about being friendly and social, even when declining an app

ever since like EC and BoP took off, BH has had a ton of trouble keeping pve guilds together, iirc.

This is the only thing that kept Tempest alive for so long.
