I thoroughly enjoyed that article. It's nice to read something about politics that isn't politically skewed.

To be fair though, I knew just by looking at the chart that something was off. No doubt Obama has been spending. But spending is what gets the economy moving. I offer a simple analogy:

If there is a fire in a 10-story building, you obviously need water. However, if you bring a single and it slows down but doesn't stop the fire, concluding that "water doesn't put out fires" is neither logical, nor correct. Similarly, claiming that spending "won't get us out of this economic mess" based on the fact that Obama's stimulus spending only prevented a depression and not completely fix the economy us a bad conclusion to make.

I mean, it's not like he WANTS to increase the debt. Nobody does. He's doing what he (and much of the country) believes will save our country.

Anyway I just thought they were interesting photos...I was pretty sure the first was too funny to be true, as Eturnal's link shows I was right.
