Druids are the only relevant class with 4 talent trees.

I can see Blizzard doing something like that to the warlock class.

As long as I can nab some of your resto goodness with Symbiosis, the new 'share a spell' mechanism for druids.

They should just add a 4th tree that serves as either tank or healer to all of the pures.

End the pure vs hybrid QQing once and for all.

~totally do not want this to further my own goals in that game~

It's way too early to tell much about the trees, they'll cut at least 50% of what they're saying they'll do and at release some classes will be overhauled and some will be completely unfinished. It's difficult to compare talents/spells now because of some of the meta changes like dispels, but as someone who always played a priest, I don't care much for the direction. Of course, they've been making the class incrementally worse since bc so I can't be surprised.

They really should. Hunter and Warlocks tanks, Mage and Rogue healers. There were enough terribads playing healers and tanks when I still played, it's not like this would change anything on that front (though I could imagine the sinking feeling when you get into a group and find a rogue healer and a hunter tank).

Druids don't get four talent trees. They just get Four specializations. So, cats won't have all the benefits of bears and vice versa.

I'm kind of curious what you mean when you say priests are getting worse. If it's a playstyle thing, I can't really disagree because that's entirely personal preference. But disc in PvP at the moment is basically indestructible. PvP's really my only area of priest knowledge so if this is a raid thing, I likewise defer to your commentary. But healers in general (and priests in particular in Cata) have only gotten stronger from expansion to expansion in PvP.

If destruction exists, we must destroy everything.

Except for the start of Cata when they were punching bags for every other class. After they doubled or tripled the shields, Priests became one of the top healers again.

Edit: MoP will be no different. One or two healers will be extremely gimped right away and will have to endure the imbalance for a full season before getting over buffed.
